For day time set up, we charge an hourly rate plus a transportation (mileage) and for our strike services we charge a percentage rate plus transportation fee (mileage). Schedule a consultation to learn more!
We use our Finito vans to transport all floral items, candles and installation pieces back to the florist. And depending on where venue is for the event or wedding, typically we drop florist’s item off that same night or the next day.
The way florists package their items before an event is the same way we package it after. Typically, florists will leave their containers/boxes at the venue for us to use to package everything. Candles will go in their dividers or cardboard boxes with individual slots, and bud vases/centerpieces will go in containers with bubble wrap or padding to protect them during strike and transportation. If florists have specific directions on how they want their items packaged, we’re happy to accommodate those specifics. Also, if something does break and it’s our fault, we’ll reimburse florist for the cost of that item.
This depends on what the florist wants us to do with them. Sometimes, many of the florals are given away to the family or guests of the wedding, so we’ll help give flowers to them while we are striking (we’ll make sure we keep the centerpieces/bud vases to bring bs k to the florist.) Sometimes, florists would like us to compost the flowers, so we’ll do that. And sometime florists would like us to discard them, and we’ll discard them in an offsite dumpster. Either way, we’re happy to accommodate the florists desires for the florals after the event.
